Oral arguments are set to begin this afternoon in a Sedgewick County courtroom in a pre-trial hearing that will decide whether the state’s prosecution of abortion provider George Tiller should be stopped.

Law enforcement personnel were on the scene at 12th and Garfield in Kansas City in the aftermath of a crash following a police chase involving a stolen truck today. The chase began in Kansas and ended just north of Interstate 70 in downtown Kansas City.

Two people are in custody after leading police on a high speed chase through both sides of the state line. The chase began around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday when police spotted a stolen pickup truck they had tried to pull over on Tuesday.
